Your mailbox

Connect Gmail, Outlook, or any other mailbox (iCloud, GMX, web.de, Bluewin, Infomaniak, Yahoo, your company’s server). Emails you approve are sent from that address. Connecting another one replaces it.

For an IMAP mailbox, create an app password in your provider’s security settings. Servers fill in for common providers.

Writing style

Set rules per language for salutations, closings, punctuation, and tone. Signal follows them in every email in that language. Swiss High German comes built in. Empty the box and save to return to the built-in rules.

People you write to

Add people so Signal knows who you mean when you say a name, and whether to write formally. Customers with a private link are included automatically.
